...those who Larp and go to the Renaissance Faire and those who (rhymes with Shandra...) don't. You can't make assumptions or spot them in real life either- there is no 'gay-dar' equivalent for identifying persons of this persuasion. One of my best friends (an attorney, mind you) never told me about her proclivity for dressing in full pirate drag on the weekends and meeting up with other like minded individuals (apparently there are hundreds and thousands of these people...) until I had known her for at LEAST 5 years! That fact in and of itself seems to indicate that either she knew it was outside the norm and did not care to open herself up for comment OR she belongs to some secret nerd society that only reveals to their own kind.
Either way, I will not judge. Just like that time in college I spent the night making out with Beth Eckleson only to realize that it was nice and all, but it didn't really set the alarms off in the firehouse for me. I think you are either born to Larp and 'Renaissance'- or you are not.
