Confession time; I loathe going to the salon. It feels excruciating and endless. Perhaps if I was simultaneously getting a mani/pedi, hand and foot massage WHILE getting my teeth brushed and car washed in the parking lot, I would feel... better. In addition, I'm kinda picky. My needs are simple- but SPECIFIC. Now, I'm not bitchy or rude if it all goes to hell, I just pay my dollars, leave a decent tip and walk sadly to my car feeling like I am once more on the donkey end of the unwinnable carrot and stick game of woman beauty ritual stuff.
Needless to say, I have found no place that my locks can call 'home'- until today.

Hmmm... the cynic in me doubted, but the defeated beauty junkie wanted to believe...
I called and they said they could take me.
What more can I lose?
I'll be there in 20 minutes.

I guess I'm part girl and part gear-head because there were magnets pulling that Harley right into my eyeballs! It's a custom '96 Hugger with Softail and Fat Boy pieces. I know, I know, I didn't give you a full body shot- but that just means you get to go check it's minty perfection out for yourself! It belonged to Donna, she was tiny and she was a nurse. She packed a gun and rode her Harley to see her patients. Her husband called her 'Nitroglycerine'. Her daughter, Jazz, owns this shop and everything in it has threads connected to her family.
Isn't she cute?

Jazz and Tania looking girl-next-door gorgeous from my vantage point inside the shampoo bowl.

This little cowboy cut-out would be corny anywhere but here. Not only are these women talented (thank you, Tania!), but they are relaxed and sweet and friendly and made the 'salon experience' just a visit with friends (friends that make you look a million times better by the time you leave, that is...).
P.S. They also have a talented and chill full service male barber for the dudes!
Result; the best hair EVER!!!!!!!!!!! (No, Officer, I'm NOT driving and taking a pic of my new beauteous-ness in the rear view mirror, I am PARKED and my hair looks SO good that the wind was overwhelmed and blew itself into my window to get a closer look!)
HIGHLY recommend!
